DIAMOND JUBILEE INAUGURATION

A Milestone of Glory and GrowthOn Monday, 4th August 2025, our school joyfully celebrated the MDES Diamond Jubilee, marking 60 remarkable years of dedicated service in education.

The celebration began with a special assembly at 8:30 am, attended by all students and staff. The inauguration was symbolically done by planting a sapling, reflecting our Jubilee theme: “Green Campus Clean Campus” This act was led by Rev. Fr. Evan Gomes (S V D), Principal, and Headmistress, signifying growth, renewal, and environmental commitment.

A soulful prayer song sung by the teachers, composed  by our Secretary, Rev. Fr. Edward William Saldana followed by a grand group dance by the students brought life to the occasion.

Our Headmistress led the entire school in taking a pledge to maintain a clean campus and to avoid the use of single-use plastic, reinforcing our environmental goals.

This Diamond Jubilee not only celebrates six decades of excellence but also inspires a greener and more responsible future for our school community.
