St. Joseph’s School, Rajivnagar had its inception in the 2015 under the President-ship of His Excellency Rev. Dr. Thomas Antony Vazhapilly and the then Secretary of the Mysore Diocesan Educational Society Rev. Fr. Thomas Becket D’Souza. It began with class 9 in the Rajivnagar premises under the Principal Mrs. Elizebeth Livero. 

On 11th June 2015, the school started functioning from its present location under the Principal Mrs. Elizebeth Livero. The school has grown exponentially. The completion of the 1st floor, well ventilated class rooms with Digital Boards, Bulletin Boards, comfortable furniture makes learning a joyful experience. The next Secretary Rev. Fr. K A William added another floor and a beautiful façade to the already majestic structure. He is now the President of the parent society MDES and also the Bishop of Mysore. It is under his patronage that the school has grown in leaps and bounds. The then Secretary Rev. Fr. Vijay Kumar has added hues and shades and a whole lot of green to the already colourful palette of St. Joseph’s environment. The hub of the school is its teachers well – qualified and professional staff. 

St. Joseph’s Nursery School was started in the year 2016 and in the year 2017 classes from 1-8 began, with an aim of producing useful and enlightened citizens where quality education would work as a powerful instrument of social change. This is achieved in the fulfillment of its objectives for which the institution has been founded.
