77TH REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION

Our school celebrated Republic Day with great pride and enthusiasm. The programme began with a soulful prayer song, followed by a disciplined march past by the four school houses, showcasing unity, coordination, and team spirit. This was followed by the dignified flag hoisting ceremony. The celebration continued with an inspiring speech by our Chief Guest, who highlighted the values of the Constitution and encouraged students to be responsible citizens of the nation. The significance of Republic Day was then explained, reminding everyone of the ideals of democracy, equality, and unity. One of the major highlights of the programme was the cultural dance performance, beautifully depicting Unity in Diversity. Students presented vibrant state-wise dances, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of India. The celebration concluded on a joyful and patriotic note, making the occasion truly memorable for all.

Christmas Celebration

Our school celebrated Christmas on 23rd December with great joy and enthusiasm. The programme was graced by our respected Principal and Head Mistress. It began with a prayer song, followed by Christmas carol singing by both teachers and students, which created a festive atmosphere. Students presented a short talk explaining the significance of Christmas, highlighting the message of love, peace, and sharing. A special Christmas skit was also performed, making the celebration meaningful and enjoyable. The programme was well organised and truly memorable for everyone.

COOKING WITHOUT FIRE (V to IX)

The Cooking Without Fire Competition was successfully conducted for students of Classes V to IX across all schools. The event encouraged students to explore creativity, nutrition, and presentation skills without using fire. Participants prepared a variety of healthy and innovative dishes, demonstrating awareness of balanced diet, hygiene, and food safety. The competition provided hands-on learning and helped students understand the importance of nutritious food choices. Students displayed great enthusiasm and originality, making the event both engaging and educational.

SCIENCE ELOCUTION COMPETITION (I to IV)

To foster scientific thinking and communication skills among young learners, our school successfully conducted a Science Elocution Competition for students of Classes I to IV. The event provided a wonderful platform for children to express their understanding of basic scientific concepts through simple and confident speech. The participants spoke on science topics, highlighting the importance of science in daily life, nature, health, and technology. Despite their young age, the students showcased remarkable clarity, curiosity, and enthusiasm. The competition helped build confidence, improved public speaking skills, and encouraged an early interest in science. Teachers and judges appreciated the students’ efforts and encouraged them to continue exploring the world of science with curiosity and creativity. The event was both educational and inspiring, making it a memorable learning experience for all.

NUTRITION DAY (Nursery Section)

Nutrition Day was joyfully celebrated in the Nursery Section, making it a memorable and successful event. The tiny tots enthusiastically participated by bringing a variety of healthy and nutritious dishes. Through this activity, students learned about the importance of eating fresh, balanced food in a fun and engaging way. The celebration helped create awareness about good food habits at an early age and encouraged children to make healthy choices. The colourful display of dishes and the cheerful participation of students made the event lively and educational.

DEBATE COMPETITION ( V to X)

A Debate Competition was conducted in our school, providing students with a platform to express their opinions confidently and think critically. Participants presented strong arguments on both sides of the given topic, showcasing excellent communication skills, teamwork, and presence of mind. The event encouraged healthy competition and helped students develop clarity of thought and public-speaking abilities.

Handwriting Competition ( I to IV )

A Handwriting Competition for Classes 1– 4 was successfully organized to promote neatness and presentation in written work. Students enthusiastically showcased their handwriting skills by writing a given passage with accuracy and clarity. Winners were selected based on spacing, alignment, uniformity, and overall neatness. The event encouraged students to develop good writing habits and take pride in their work.

JO – FIESTA : A Successful Fundraising Event

Our school recently celebrated Jo – Fiesta, a vibrant and meaningful event organized for charity purposes. The occasion was not only enjoyable but also aimed at raising funds to support a noble cause. The event was beautifully organized, with many stalls offering a variety of fun activities, games, and treats. The success of the day was made possible with the active contribution of students, parents, and teachers, who enthusiastically participated in every aspect of the festival. The coordination and planning ensured everything ran smoothly, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere for everyone. Thanks to the collective effort of our school community, Jo – Fiesta turned out to be a truly successful and memorable event, fulfilling both its purpose of fundraising and spreading joy among all participants.

ANNUAL SPORTS MEET 2025 – 26

” GREEN CAMPUS BRIGHT CHAMPIONS “ Our school celebrated its Annual Sports Meet in a grand and memorable manner. The programme began with an impressive band performance followed by a beautiful band display. The students representing the four houses marched smartly towards the stage, showcasing discipline and teamwork. The arrival of the torch added a sense of pride and excitement to the event. The honourable Chief Guest Neole Anna Cornelio, International Athlete formally inaugurated the Sports Meet by releasing colourful balloons into the sky, symbolizing joy and celebration. The atmosphere was filled with applause and cheer as everyone welcomed the beginning of the special occasion. As this year marks the remarkable journey of our school towards the Diamond Jubilee, several cultural performances based on the theme “Green Campus, Clean Campus” were presented. The students performed energetic dances and displayed conveying the importance of a clean and eco-friendly environment. The event was a grand success with the presence of all the members from management, teachers, parents, and students who encouraged the participants. Overall, the Sports Meet not only promoted the spirit of sportsmanship but also showcased the talents and unity of our school community. It was truly a day to be remembered by all.

Children’s Day Celebrations

Our school celebrated Children’s Day with great joy and enthusiasm. The program began with offering flowers to Chacha Nehru (Jawaharlal Nehru), followed by a prayer song that created a warm and vibrant atmosphere. Our Treasurer, Rev. Fr. Naveen, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, along with our Principal and Headmistress. The event included a welcome speech and a talk on the significance of the day, reminding students of Nehru’s love and vision for children. A heartfelt greeting song was presented, after which all class teachers handed out greeting cards to their class monitors. The celebration continued with a delightful action song that captured everyone’s attention. Our Chief Guest then addressed the gathering with an inspiring guest speech. This was followed by a lively remix dance performance by the teachers, which became the highlight of the program and filled the hall with excitement. The event concluded with a sincere vote of thanks delivered by our School Captain. With everyone’s support and participation, the day turned out to be a memorable and successful Children’s Day celebration.
