“A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind, and touches a heart.” This thought beautifully sums up the spirit of our Teachers’ Day celebration. The day was filled with joy, gratitude, and admiration for the teachers who guide and inspire students every day. The program was wonderfully organized by the students, with the council leaders taking the lead in planning and coordinating every detail. A special highlight of the celebration was the honoring of one of our retired teachers. It was a heartwarming moment as the school community came together to express gratitude and respect for the years of dedicated service and guidance. One of the highlights of the day was the series of dance performances. Each performance was vibrant, creative, and full of energy. Another touching moment was when the teachers received thoughtful gifts from students. This heartfelt gesture spoke volumes about the love and respect the students hold for their mentors. It was a day that reminded us

A Milestone of Glory and GrowthOn Monday, 4th August 2025, our school joyfully celebrated the MDES Diamond Jubilee, marking 60 remarkable years of dedicated service in education. The celebration began with a special assembly at 8:30 am, attended by all students and staff. The inauguration was symbolically done by planting a sapling, reflecting our Jubilee theme: “Green Campus Clean Campus” This act was led by Rev. Fr. Evan Gomes (S V D), Principal, and Headmistress, signifying growth, renewal, and environmental commitment. A soulful prayer song sung by the teachers, composed  by our Secretary, Rev. Fr. Edward William Saldana followed by a grand group dance by the students brought life to the occasion. Our Headmistress led the entire school in taking a pledge to maintain a clean campus and to avoid the use of single-use plastic, reinforcing our environmental goals. This Diamond Jubilee not only celebrates six decades of excellence but also inspires a greener and more responsible future for our school community. Edit
